Expected (and Unexpected) Power Outages
What WE Know
[From Three Rivers Together]
As we all know all too well, in recent weeks there have been many unexpected power outages as well as scheduled power outages that do not actually take place. As of this morning, Southern California Edison had shut down all non-emergency phone calls with customers. Eddie Valero is aware of the situation, however, and is working to facilitate communications and help manage situations such as yesterday’s in which we had a nearby fire while most of us had no means of communicating due to power and cell phone service outages.
SCE currently has three scheduled power outages in effect in Three Rivers, purportedly impacting 421 households and businesses, with a fourth scheduled to impact the Cherokee Oaks area this afternoon.
SCE has many more power outages scheduled for the next two weeks. Unless the situation changes, we can expect more unscheduled power outages, as well. Although yesterday’s power outage affected all of Three Rivers, the scheduled outages are expected to impact discrete portions of the community.
We will update you when we get more accurate information about the planned and unexpected outages. Meanwhile, the following is a summary of the information provide by SCE.

The following outages are currently planned. Some customers, such as those in Cherokee Oaks, may have multiple all-day outages. The total number of households and businesses expected to be impacted is 1,121.
