Escorts to Assist in Evacuation

NOTE FROM THREE RIVERS TOGETHER: This information may duplicate messages you have already received. We have been asked to send it to you to ensure that as many people of the community receive it as possible.

This is a message from the Tulare County Fire Department. Due to fire conditions in the area, there will be road closures along Mineral King Road, between Oak Grove and the National Park Boundary. For public safety reasons there will be a pilot car escorting vehicles out of the area intermittently beginning at 10 am today. Availability may be limited by fire activity, and there may be significant time delays between escorts. This will be in effect until further notice and can change at any time. Tulare County Fire appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this incident.
