Get in Your Element with a Tulare County Library Card

By Margarita Lozano

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when Tulare County Library, the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide, unite their efforts to ensure every child and adult signs-up for their own library card. From borrowing books, eBooks, and audiobooks to getting homework help, learning new skills, or attending a book club or story time, a library card helps everyone do more of what they enjoy. There is something for everyone.

The Library wants to celebrate with you all because during Library Card Sign-up Month, everyone wins! Enter all month-long for library-themed prize bundles by celebrating your local library branch. All you have to do is:

  • Present your library card to library staff.
  • Check out a library item.
  • Sign up to get for a first Tulare County Library card.
  • Refer someone to get their first Library card. *

*When signing up for a library card, let us know if someone referred you. In return, not only are you entered, you also help others get additional entries. The last day to enter is Saturday, September 30.

Tulare County Library, along with libraries everywhere, adapt and expand services to meet the evolving community needs. It’s easy to sign up for a library card or to learn more about the library’s resources and programs, just visit www.tularecountylibrary.org/library-card or your local branch library.
