Sheriff Boudreaux has downgraded evacuation orders to evacuation warnings for the following zones: TLC-E094-B, TLC-E094-C, TLC-E094-D, and TLC-E094-E. Sheriff Boudreaux has also downgraded evacuation warnings to normal status for the following zones: TLC-E093-A, TLC-E093-B, and TLC-E128A. This is a message from the Tulare County Fire Department. Due to fire conditions in the area, there will be road closures along Mineral King Road, between Oak Grove and the National Park Boundary. For public safety reasons there will be a pilot car escorting vehicles out of the area intermittently beginning at 10 am today. Availability may be limited by fire activity, and there may be significant time delays between escorts. This will be in effect until further notice and can change at any time. Tulare County Fire appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this incident.

Sheriff Boudreaux has issued two new Evacuation Warnings due to current fire conditions for zones TLC-E093-A and TLC-E093-B. At this time, no official zone descriptions have been provided; however, Zone TLC-E093-B includes a portion of the Mineral King Road below the Oak Grove Bridge and includes a section of the Salt Creek watershed. Zone TLC-E093-A lies on the northwestern flank of Case Mountain and includes the upper portion of the Salt Creek watershed.
