Contractors began implementing the Generals Highway Roadside Hazard Tree Removal project on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. This project, spans approximately 10.5 miles of the Generals Highway from the Redwood Mountain Overlook to Forest Route 15S03 and the Sequoia National Park boundary. Operations will be conducted from Monday to Friday and may lead to traffic delays of up to 30 minutes.
