Aging in Community-Three Rivers Presents
Understanding Hospice: A Round Table Conversation
St. Anthony Retreat Center, Mission Room
Aging in Community-Three Rivers is hosting a free round table conversation for those interested in deepening their understanding of specialized hospice care. We hope to dispel common myths surrounding this practice. Following the weekly Monday Senior Lunch, the dialog will begin at 1:00 PM in the St. Anthony Retreat Center Mission Room and include professionals, volunteers, and family members who have experienced the benefits of hospice firsthand.
The session will be facilitated by Janne Harlow and Janna Brittain, local residents with over twenty years of experience in hospice practice who will answer frequently asked questions in a nonjudgmental environment. Participants will learn how hospice enhances the quality of life at the end of life by providing compassionate, specialized care for patients while bringing comfort and support to their families.
Resources and free materials from professional hospice organizations will be available for distribution. Please call 559-465-4666 or email agingincommunity3r@gmail.com to register for this FREE gathering. For your $5 lunch reservation, call St. Anthony Retreat Center by June 2, 55-561-4595.
