Join one of our very own native plant experts, Melanie Baer Keeley at the library for a family-friendly presentation on native plants. All ages are welcome. For info call (559) 561-4564 or (559) 302-8462.
Part of the lecture program of the Three Rivers Branch Library and Friends, the presentation covers the essential elements of successfully using native plants in home landscapes. Melanie also introduces us to some of the wonderful native plants that thrive in our area and their benefits.
Melanie is currently the restoration horticulturalist for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. A scientist with decades of experience propagating the native plants of California and studying and restoring the habitats in which they live, Melanie has a wealth of experience and knowledge growing native plants and designing landscapes that use native plants.
