1st Saturday in Three Rivers!

January 6 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

 Food * Fun* Fabulous Art

EVERY 1st SATURDAY, the artists, restaurants and merchants of Three Rivers, California, open their doors and invite you to join in a town-wide celebration from 11 to 5 o’clock (unless otherwise stated on Blog and Map). You can pick up a map and schedule at Kaweah Arts and the Three Rivers Historical Museum – the map shows all participating venues, art to see, locations and times for special events.

It’s time for Food, Fun and Fabulous Art celebrating 1st Saturday in Three Rivers, January 6, 2024 from 10 to 4! Please note the change in hours for the winter months. It’s a great time to find a gift for yourself!  There is no one featured artist this month. The participating artists do hope that you will make the effort to see what they all have to offer.

At the Presbyterian Church, we have come to count on finding Bertha Garza offering her wonderful Dazzling Dreams Natural Skin Care Products. Here you can also meet Brenda Burke with her handmade knit hats to suit anyone looking for a warm and stylish hat. Scott Reinhardt will be joining us for the first time with his stunning photography of the natural world. He uses his experience as a wildlife biologist to maintain a responsible distance.  And you won’t want to miss having fun making Painted Canvas Calendar Toppers with Leslie Bird. It’s a FREE make and take class that’s first come, first served.

Be sure to stop by Kaweah Arts and meet owner, Nancy Brunson. There you will find the art of 50+ artists!  Nancy invites you to spend some time discovering what the artists have to offer. Since my weaving studio will not be open, you can find my handwoven towels, Mug Rugs and other items at Kaweah Arts.

At Cort Gallery, you will find Nature Photographer, Lace Montgomery conveying the beauty of the outdoors through her photos.

A place that’s worth the drive is the ever-popular River Water Pottery Studio & Gallery on South Fork where Anne & HJ Brown make their beautiful handmade pottery. Here you will also find Jami Beck with jewelry, gourds & Macramé items.

Three Rivers Historical Museum has a gift shop and books by local authors.  Don’t miss their new Native Voices exhibit!  PUBLIC RESTROOMS are also available at the Museum.

Try the newest place in town to eat: Tony’s Taverna on Wheels, serving fresh authentic Greek Food from their food truck in the parking lot of the Museum. Totem Market and Gifts (8 am to 8 pm) is where you can pick up BBQ & Beer and visit a Wine Tasting Bar. Last but certainly not least, a visit to Three Rivers is not complete without stopping at Reimer’s Candies and Gifts for some specially made candy and ice cream.

Maps with addresses and more information are available for you to pick up at Kaweah Arts and the Historical Museum. Remember that the map will also contain QR codes that link to more information about each location to help you plan your 1st Saturday experience. More information can be found on our website: www.1stSaturdayTR.com where you will soon be able to download a map.
