1st Saturday in Three Rivers!

June 3, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

 Food * Fun* Fabulous Art

EVERY 1st SATURDAY, the artists, restaurants and merchants of Three Rivers, California, open their doors and invite you to join in a town-wide celebration from 11 to 5 o’clock (unless otherwise stated on Blog and Map). You can pick up a map and schedule at Kaweah Arts and the Three Rivers Historical Museum – the map shows all participating venues, art to see, locations and times for special events.

It’s time for Food, Fun and Fabulous Art celebrating 1st Saturday in Three Rivers, June 3, 2023 from 11 to 5! Our Featured Artist is author Lea Maryanow at Three Rivers Historical Museum where you can meet her and purchase her Amazon Top Ten selling children’s book, “Stripes”. Ask her to autograph your copy while you are there. Three Rivers Historical Museum has a gift shop and other books by local authors. PUBLIC RESTROOMS are also available at the Museum.

Nancy Brunson of Kaweah Arts, where you will find the art of 50+ artists, invites you to stop in and spend some time discovering what the artists have to offer. Meet Bertha Garza in person at Kaweah Arts where she will be offering her wonderful Dazzling Dreams Natural Products. Correy McGlyn who creates personal, on the spot poems using a typewriter will also be at Kaweah Arts. My weaving studio, Handweaving by Nikki on South Fork will not be open but you can purchase my handwoven towels and other handwoven items at Kaweah Arts.

You will have the chance to visit some of the artists’ studios in various parts of town. The ever-popular River Water Pottery Studio & Gallery is where Anne & HJ Brown make their beautiful handmade pottery. Here you will also find Jami Beck with jewelry, gourds & Macramé items. For light-hearted whimsy, visit Linda Dumont’s Faery Godmother’s Enchanted Cottage for her chakras wands, healing mandalas and sculptures.

At the CORT Gallery, you can enjoy the Super Bloom Art Show and Sale. The Super Bloom Art Show is open from 10 to 8, with the potluck starting at 4, and the popular local band “Moose Crossing” starting at 5. Totem Market and Gifts (7am to 9 pm) is where you can see a living wall of plants and pick up BBQ & Beer and visit a Wine Tasting Bar.

Have you been to Kaweah Coffee Roasters yet? They serve artisan coffee and other delicious beverages as well as their wonderful breakfast and lunch options, too! Gregory Gray, a renowned Three Rivers photographer and media specialist offering services in portrait, real estate, drone, and commercial photography as well as videography, will be joining us at Kaweah Coffee Roasters. Right behind Kaweah Coffee Roasters is Royal Gardens Nursery specializing in native plants, succulents, cacti, and seasonal produce. While there, you can enjoy the paintings and curios from repurposed wood of David Ramirez. Last but certainly not least, a visit to Three Rivers is not complete without stopping at Reimer’s Candies and Gifts for some specially made candy and ice cream.

Maps with addresses and more information are available for you to pick up at Kaweah Arts and the Three Rivers Historical Museum. More information can be found on our website:
