EVERY 1st SATURDAY, the artists, restaurants and merchants of Three Rivers, California, open their doors and invite you to join in a town-wide celebration from 11 to 5 o’clock (unless otherwise stated on Blog and Map). You can pick up a map and schedule at Kaweah Arts and the Three Rivers Historical Museum – the map shows all participating venues, art to see, locations and times for special events.

THE 1st SATURDAY in April falls on April 1st!

Featured Artist – Shirley Keller, at her Spirit Hill Studio. Shirley is featuring FREE art supplies.

Harrison Hall – Kacey Fansett FREE watercolor classes; Bertha Garza’ soaps and body products; Correy McGlyn’s poetry; Jordan Serota’s woodworking; Brett Harvey’s local nature photography; Danette Eskridge’s gnomes.

River Water Pottery – Anne and HJ Brown’s lovely pottery studio & gallery on the South Fork; with TRUS teacher Jamie Beck’s gourds and jewelry.

Nikki Crain – at her colorful Handweaving Studio on the South Fork.

Linda DuMont – at her “faery godmother’s cottage”, with the grand opening of her NEW addition.

Kaweah Coffee Roasters – locally roasted gourmet coffee, and very special pastries – both savory & sweet.

Kaweah Arts – pick up Maps; has over 50 local artists on consignment.

Three Rivers Historical Museum – pick up Maps; has both indoor and outdoor exhibits including the 40 foot statue of Paul Bunyan with his ox Babe carved out of a single redwood tree.

Reimer’s Candies, Gifts, & Ice Cream – a famous landmark, featuring local ingredients in their gourmet chocolates and other seasonal favorites, specialty items and gifts, and a Christmas/river deck shop open on the weekends.

The Totem – Wine tastings, delicatessen, and gifts. Locally owned.

New this month: Greg Gray at Kaweah Coffee Roasters.
