UPDATE: Due to the televised presidential debate happening at 6pm on Thursday, we’ve shifted our time up a bit for those that would like to do both. The meeting will now be at 4:30pm.

Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are hosting a public meeting to discuss the record visitation over Memorial Day weekend and impacts to the Three Rivers community. Park staff will be joined by Tulare County and Emergency Services representatives to best address concerns and work together on solutions.

The park staff will not be able to provide a virtual option for this meeting, but they will be sending out messaging and communication products for all of us to use in the days after the meeting. 

During this meeting park staff will also share the plans to mitigate congestion as much as possible over the upcoming 4^th of July holiday, and ways that Three Rivers residents and business owners might help.
