The Three Rivers Branch Library will be hosting a wonderful 45-minute presentation by Tim Holzem.

Come join Park Ranger Tim Holzem, a Natural Resource Specialist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Kaweah / Terminus Dam, who will be presenting a synopsis of this vital system flowing through our region.

Within the highest peaks of the Sierra Nevada, the Kaweah Watershed begins its journey delivering an essential resource to all life within it. Discover how melting snowflakes on top of a mountain can shape a valley landscape, how a rushing river can be tamed to reduce catastrophic flooding, and how water can be harnessed to generate power and produce an abundance of nourishment for the world.
